True omnivores, they will eat pellets, most water plants, romaine lettuce, insects, fish, worms crustaceans and
meat. Western Painted Turtles are distinctly different from other painteds in that they have very impressive red and black belly patterns.
An excellent choice for beginning and intermediate keepers.
